King's Knoll is private and quiet with lushly landscaped grounds adjacent to the Waikoloa Resort. The
hotel grounds offer many different backdrops for your photos. Highly recommended for formal weddings with gowns. GREAT luau at the nearby hotel grounds on Sundays and Wednesdays.

The Place of Refuge is located 25-30 miles south of Kailua-Kona in South Kona in a Hawaiian Historical
Area. This is a very special and spiritual place. |

Anaeho'omalu Beach fronts the Waikoloa Beach Resort and Historical fish ponds. The area was a
gathering place for Hawaiian royalty. It can be windy and sometimes a busy area with resort functions. Fairly quiet early mornings and usually in the evenings. There is a great variety of photo
spots and if you don't mind walking a bit, maximum privacy is available. |

Kukio beach is right at the Public Access near Four Seasons Hualalai. New public access area is a
state park, beautifully landscaped with coconut trees, beach and fabulous sunsets. I highly reccommend dinner reservations at the Pahui'a (Four Seasons Resort) just a few minutes away. |

This park is close to Kailua Kona and only a 5 minute walk from a parking area adjacent to Honokohau
Harbor. A canoe hale (the "A" frame in the larger pictures) is protection from the unlikely possibility of rain. The beach is frequented by Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles (They're protected, so no
touch please!) Sometimes a little busy on weekends, but usually pretty quiet towards sunset any day of the week. |

Hapuna Beach is one of the Island's longest and best beaches. It is usually busy, but crowds thin out in
the late afternoon. The area can be windy at times. |
